The Rev. Kimberly Hassan, Pastor, attended Luther
College, where she obtained her Bachelor's degree with a major in
Biology and Zoology. She attended Wartbug Theological Seminary,
receiving a Masters in Biblical Studies. She then attended PLTS
for her Master of Divinity in 2009. Kim did her internship at
Lutheran Church of the Reformation in Washington, DC. She has 6
years of experience as a Youth Director in two different churches
in Iowa prior to attending PLTS. Kimberly is married to Khalid
Abdalla Hassan. They have one child, Malik, who is 2 years

Carl Bear, Director of Music, is a doctoral student in
liturgical studies at the Graduate Theological Union. He previously
studied music at Valparaiso University, Arizona State University,

Paul Heggeseth, Parish Administrator, became a member
of Shepherd of the Hills in 2009 after moving to the Bay Area to
begin a Masters in Trumpet Performance at the San Francisco
Conservatory of Music. An active member of the worship and music
committee, Paul plays his trumpet and helps plan and lead worship
regularly. Since his graduation from SFCM in May 2011, he has been
enjoying making music, home-brewing beer, and learning about web

| Matilde Andrade, Nursery Care, has provided nursery care for Shepherd of the Hills since 2000 and is a Trustline certified childcare provider. She cares for children three and younger during worship and coffee hour when nursery care has been requested. |
