Confirmation
Since many Lutherans are baptized at birth, confirmation allows an individual maturing in faith to claim the promises made for him or her by baptismal sponsors.
At Shepherd of the Hills, confirmation is offered to middle school aged youth. Over the course of two years (excluding summers) we will talk about the Bible, about the creeds of the church, and the Ten Commandments in addition to Lutheran theology.
We will talk about our call as Christians to care for each other and for creation. The course includes class time, worship time, and service time.
